Rick Bukacek has been creating custom
pieces for over 10 years. Rick is a self-taught
artistic blacksmith. Rick has also taken many
workshops and classes to expand his techniques. Rick
previously created custom fences, rails and gates for
homeowners and businesses alike. Rick helped restore
the Drake Court Apartments courtyard in downtown Omaha,
Nebraska from old photographs. Many of Rick's clients
started their design with a drawing on a napkin and Rick
brought their design to fruition. After creating large
scale artwork such as fences, rails and gates, Rick decided
to begin to offer more artistic pieces where his creativity
can be expressed more freely. Everything he creates is
hand-crafted, hand-forged and hand-painted. No two
items are identical.
